Evidence policy: this guide separates official facts, current player reports, video-tested observations, and unconfirmed/old-version information. Early Access can change quickly.

The current Steam Early Access description says FEAR OF FAITH includes 10 weapons. This page does not pretend to have a complete stat table yet; it focuses on the rules and items that can be verified from official material and current footage.

Physical weapon handling is part of the design

Every gameplay item is physical according to the developer: you can grab it, throw it or use it directly from your hands. That extends beyond weapons to grenades, fuel and utility objects.

Weapon durability / breakage

In launch gameplay, players repeatedly comment that melee weapons are close to breaking or have broken. That supports the existence of durability-like wear in the current build, but the footage does not provide a precise durability number.

Weapons observed in launch footage

The supplied video shows or mentions several weapon types, including:

  • firearms picked up inside the bunker,
  • a flare gun,
  • a large hammer,
  • a hatchet/axe,
  • a launcher/plasma-style weapon,
  • an unlock called Fear Cleaver.

Upgrades between runs

The long video shows players reaching an upgrade interface, unlocking Fear Cleaver and upgrading weapons. It also shows selling items for money/resources between expeditions.

Because values can change rapidly in Early Access, this guide does not publish exact prices or “best upgrade per SYNTRUM” ratios without a controlled current-build capture.

Best beginner weapon rule

Use the weapon you can keep supplied and safely finish fights with. Launch footage shows that some GHOUL-like threats can remain dangerous after a simple knockdown, so verify a threat is actually finished before moving on.

Q&A

How many weapons are officially listed?

The current Steam Early Access description says 10 weapons.

Do weapons break?

Launch footage includes players warning that melee weapons are close to breaking or have broken, which supports durability-like wear in that build. Exact durability values are not claimed.

Can weapons be upgraded?

Yes. Steam confirms upgrade progression generally, and launch footage shows a weapon-upgrade interface and unlock behavior. Exact costs are intentionally omitted until verified.
